A growth in business and new staff members joining the company meant a relocation to new offices was necessary for Balby property agents Galley Properties. To celebrate the occasion Doncaster Rovers players were on hand to officially open the premises and support the company’s chosen charity Freed Breeches.
The Galley Property team is headed by Managing Director Teresa Galley who has benefited through the Business Doncaster programme by receiving help from Business Buddy Jean Stewart. Together, Jean and Teresa have sourced information to aid the business and help it grow.
Jean said: “Teresa has a great deal of experience managing large contracts and has used this skill to grow her business very quickly and successfully.”
Teresa was voted Bradford and Bingley Property Business Woman of the Year 2008 based on her property portfolio, financial success and personal achievements by national reputable figures in the property field.
She said: “We care passionately about the landlords’ businesses, and aim to take the strain out of managing their properties to ensure that the whole process is as smooth and stress free as possible. Also we care about the welfare of the tenants, believing that if the tenant is matched to the right property, then both tenant and landlord will enjoy a long and happy working relationship.”
Galley Properties do not just stop at being a letting business, they also have plans to launch a seminar programme which will offer local people the chance to learn more about property and associated issues. These will be held at their premises in Balby featuring a number of guest speakers and will enable new and existing landlords understand the best way to manage their properties.
